from your model work. The system works with all major implant systems and due to the precise scanning and milling process,
provides fits that are superior to those of cast gold bars. Additionally, the use of milled surgical grade titanium
substructures instead of cast gold has made doing these types of cases more cost effective than ever! Gnathodontics’
Overdenture Bars and Fixed Hybrid cases provide the highest levels of biocompatibility and the substructures are 4X
lighter than those of cast gold bars for increased patient comfort. We’re please to provide a 5-year warranty against
breakage of the bar.
Clinical and Laboratory proceedures
for Gnathodontics’ CAD/CAM overdenture bars
Doctor: Upper and Lower preliminary impressions and study cast of existing appliance.
Order impression copings for
final impression. Supply Lab with Implant System and diameter of each implant.
Lab: Pour casts and make custom tray for implant level impression.
Doctor: Final impression using custom tray (open top); choose final shade and mold of denture teeth.
Lab: Using new analogs, pour master cast with soft tissue insert; fabricate verification jig using temporary
non-engaging abutments. Fabricate screw retained esthetic control base for records.
Doctor: Try in verification jig and check for passive fit. Section if needed. Take jaw relation marking midline,
high smile, etc.
Lab: Set-up trial denture tooth set-up on screw retained baseplate.
Doctor: Try in screw retained set-up and take a check bite for lab remount prior to processing. Verify esthetics,
phonetics, tooth color, midline etc.
Lab: Fabricate Bar/Bridge and set teeth on frame for final try-in.
Doctor: Try in CAD/CAM bar/bridge with teeth in wax (final try-in). Take check bite if needed.
Lab: Process for final delivery.
Doctor: Deliver final prosthesis.
