How to take a Successful Intraoral Scan
Make sure margins are visible, use either double cord, retraction paste, cord soaked in hemodent, or soft tissue laser
Dry all surfaces, any liquid visible will reflect the light and create inaccurate data in the scan
Full palate, capture all vestibules, all posterior teeth surfaces
Bite Scan
Ortho, please specify brackets or none with model
Tissue scan for abutment cases (this is taken without the scan body in place)
Pre-op or Temporary scan is a MUST for large anterior cases.
Please include RX with directions and any extra photos
